All 13 of us started out after a chaotic morning of trying to get everything taken care of. We finally got on our way about ten to nine and arrived at the Science Museum at 9:35. Everyone was trying to figure out where to get the tickets so we could start exploring until the Omni theater started at ten. The time went by fast and soon they opened the doors and people started piling in. We were in the theater with tons of screaming kids, excited for the show to begin. The lights went down and a man’s voice was heard telling everyone the rules of the Omni. After a short pause an advertisement of an upcoming performance came on and it looked entertaining.
Finally, after much anticipation the show Titanica started. They went into detail about how it was built. It was 90 ft, wide and 11 stories high about 3 thousand people were on board when it departed from its port in Ireland. The show wasn’t as good as I had expected, but I found some of the facts very interesting. It was definitely worth going to and learning about a significant part of history. I had remembered the Omni theater being more exciting and flying through tons of scenes and cool pictures. We had planned to meet at the van to make it home by 11:30. After we got underway and organized the trip went very smooth.
