We asked the following questions to four of our new students – Stein Thorbeck, John Shannon, Devon Flaherty, and Jake Stumme – and these are the answers we got.

  1. If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
    Stein — Some kind of bird, because I already look like one.
    John — Monkey, because they‘re funny looking and they can climb.
    Devon — Eagle, because they kill and fly.
    Jake — Cheetah, because they run fast.
  2. What’s your favorite cartoon?
    Stein — “Two Stupid Dogs,” “Freakazoid” is sweet too. (Stein proceeds to sing the theme song.)
    John — “Recess”
    Devon — “Simpsons” and “South Park”
    Jake — “Simpsons”
  3. If you were stuck on a deserted island, but you could have two other people with you, who would it be – famous or not, dead or alive?
    Stein — Dustin Mencel and Amanda Sheats
    John — Ramona Anderson and Mark Warren
    Devon — Carmen Electra and Nikki Taylor
    Jake — Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Lopez
  4. What’s your favorite album?
    Stein — Plastic Ono Band
    John — Pink Floyd – The Wall
    Devon — Pink Floyd – Delicate Sound of Thunder
    Jake — G’N’R Live
  5. What’s your favorite Kevin Smith movie?
    Stein — Dogma
    John — Dogma
    Devon — Mallrats
    Jake — Mallrats
