I wasn’t too interested in this movie when my dad brought it home. After he watched it and told me how good it was I thought “what else do I have to do except sit in my room?” so I popped it in my new Panasonic VCR.
It starts out with Bobby Brown being released from jail. He was sentenced for five years for a crime he didn’t commit, due to a ten thousand dollar bet, placed on the Buffalo Bills to win the Super Bowl. They lost and he couldn’t pay, so he took the fall for the brother.
The first thing he does is take a bus to go see his mom and dad. The problem is he told them that he works for the C.I.A and that he was married. So he needs to find a wife. He kidnaps a tap dancer, played by Christina Ricci {she’s hot} and she agrees to play along.
They go visit them and it goes okay. The other thing he wants to do is to kill the Buffalo kicker who was paid off to lose the game. This movie is slow, but good and sad. If it means anything I really liked it.
