We have a very special woman that not all of us have had the honor of getting to know very well. She stays hidden up in the office most of the day. She comes out very rarely, but the work she does for us is incredible. No one really knows what she does, but I do. She takes care of all the paper work, she organizes pretty much everything so it can all run smoothly. She can’t even go on long trips, well longer than three days, because no one knows how to do what she does. I wanted to write this about her because she needs to be recognized for her wonderful work. Thank you Joanne! We love you! She is always ready to listen and help with personal or school problems. She is like my second mom and I know many others feel the same. She is one in a million. Thanks again!
Lacey- How long have you worked here?
Joanne- 1978-1982. Then I worked as secretary to the president of McGlynn’s Bakeries. Doug came to my house 10 years later and offered me to come back so I’ve been here since 1992 for the second time.
Lacey- What do you like best about your job?
Joanne- The kids, I get 4-5 good belly laughs a day from all the kids.
Lacey- Who is your favorite student?
Joanne- You, Double L, of course. But also a lot of the boys are too, from Men’s Issues.
Lacey- Why did you decide to come back?
Joanne- This is a place where I can be myself.
