Recently the administration has been bringing guns into our school. Is there a need? They call him a liaison, but he’s really just an accident waiting to happen.
Right now, as far as I know the worst things that are brought to school by students are small jack knives on key chains. The worst thing that might happen is that someone might bring a can of pop upstairs. So the question is do you need guns to solve these problems?
Another issue is if the liaison has a gun, will the students need to bring them too? Minnetonka is a safe school. There is no need to have an armed liaison at our school. The only thing we will get out of it is wasted tax money and outlandish behavior.
